Coach Lauren Harf

Lauren began wakeboarding ten years ago when her family made a move from California to Orlando, Fl. Lauren grew up surfing but living inland now surfing wasn’t much of an option. So Lauren found what she thought was the next best thing, wakeboarding. She developed and incredible passion for the sport. In her first year riding she began competing in WWA sanctioned events in the Junior Women’s category. Winning every event in her category that year she decided it was time to step up and challenge in the pro ranks. Having a rough first year on tour and making such a huge transition, Lauren decided to seek out some coaching. After much instruction from various coaches Lauren found her match with Mike Ferraro, also one of the most sought after coaches in wakeboarding. Loving his coaching philosophies and techniques she finished up 8 years of traveling and riding as a professional.

Through clinics that are required by Lauren’s sponsors which include Nautique, Fox, Performance Ski and Surf, Ronix, Reef, and Hyperlite she realized a passion and skill for coaching.  Being under the wing of Mike Ferraro as well as a gifted communicator Lauren has had amazing success with numerous students. She is now passing on the knowledge that helped elevate her career. Whether you are looking to get up on a wakeboard for the first time or looking to compete at a pro level, Lauren has an encouraging coaching style and knows how to get you to the next level in wakeboarding.

Three years as a professional private coach have only increased Lauren’s love of the sport, and her students. Lauren is CPR certified by the American Red Cross as well as a certified swim instructor through the United States Swim School Association.
